Is anyone else tired of paying attention to Sybil? I know I am. I didn't come around to talk about Sybil and frankly, I could care less about her. Sybil isn't what brings me to this "circle of friends" .. it's my undying love for Sybil's bum.... Ask anyone, I've always been BUM focused and not Sybil focused. Sybil does get in the way.. but i guess that is to be expected.
I love the bum stories, pictures and videos of the bum's messes, etc etc... anything bum related including Bum Trivia. The bum gnosis is a classic statement about everything wrong with this wretched planet. lol -- a world where everyone is a goddamned bum.
And see.. I never gave any donations like the rest of u foolish people. ;-D (just kidding) U know and I don't have to tell u that even intelligent people get taken in by BS sometimes.. and I'm no different, the only difference is, Sybil was totally transparent to me and I wasn't interested in her in the first place, it's always been about the Bum for me..
I don't know what it would take for her to just put up a bum blog where she posts everyday her bum adventures like the old times.. but she can do that free here on blogger and u know lots of people would read it and be entertained... and guess what... u wouldn't have to lie to people and tell them ur heat is being turned off or whatever, you could just put up the donation can and be HONEST, and say its for the bum's natty ice and a carton of cigs.
If u are providing visitors VALUE with great content (and the bum is great content) its original content.. and funny as hell, then visitors will drop a dime in your box from time to time. One thing for sure is, if Sybil brings back the bum page and puts up a donation box she's got to use something that allows folks to give ANONYMOUSLY. She's blown her trustworthiness with personal information... but i think if she did that, found a service that will hide donors names and personal info from her, she could start making some bank of of donations.

I have an idea that runs counter to yours. To start, I'm against Sybil profiting off of the websites for several reasons,(the poor stewardship of donor info at the top of the list) but I think we can accommodate your desire for Bum Gnosis and help Bum out at the same time.
It seems to me that one of the tragedies there in Sybil Land is that Bum is dependent on Sybil for the necessities like alcohol and ciggies. He's also sitting on a lot of raw, untapped talent so I propose that an account gets set up for him to purchase a computer, a Flip video camera and he can blog about Sibyl.
Sibyl has never shied away from exploiting Bum's personal info like medical issues, his alcoholism and his travails with SSI and then regaling us with how stupid he is; so why not let Bum give us a Bum's Eye View of Sybil?
Imagine HD video of Sybil in her housecoat, hunched over the 'puter screeching like an egg-bound hen about her enemies! Kitchen cleaning videos! Casino videos!
He can put a PayPal donation button on his blog and that'll give him some pocket money for sailfones and cable Pr0n. Think about it!
I have often wondered what the Bum must be doing/thinking when MacDonald is screaming at his computer. I wonder if the Bum has any idea that so much of his personal life has been told like a one sided story. I wonder how he would react if he knew all that Steve has written about him. Talk about someone that has a REAL reason to sue. The Bum has been exploited, that's not how you treat a "friend". The Bum might be a user and not the brightest light but Steve has used him too. I think the Bum deserves and has earned his grease, beer and cigarettes...he just doesn't know it.
