Anyone could tell you that that place was the Hellmouth. No wonder he hates SF! I suppose he never bothered to check out the great antique stores just down Market or the store that sold old studio stills and headshots up by Valencia. Or The Zuni Cafe. It was actually a great neighborhood EXCEPT for the hotel. That hotel is being turned into a swank boutique hotel with a rooftop deck and bar now.
After the earthquake I had to stay in a residential hotel down SOMA and to be sure it was a hole, but not the CCH!

In contrast, eating two or more servings of brown rice per week was associated with a lower risk of the disease.
