ReplyDeleteEvery time I see one of those morbidly obese people on a scooter I scream inside. I do suppose it's cheaper for Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance carriers to pay for a scooter than it is to fund a bypass operation and the necessary follow-up care, but how does that assist someone in being healthy?
ReplyDeletePeople like that should be forced to have a bypass operation and live in a custodial care home until they lose the weight. If they gain it back when released, it's back to the fat-house again.
